Susan grew up in rural Illinois and graduated from Michigan State University. After a rewarding career in the high-tech industry, she and her husband are now retired and live in Colorado.

Susan has always had a passion for books and reading, as well as an interest in science and discoveries that shape our human existence. The Moneta Splice is her first published novel. Her second novel in the Moneta series, The Moneta Choice is underway.
